Swedish by birth and portrait painter of the 18th century and yo have been painted by him was one of the highest social medals one could have his personal journey took him though a great part of Europe. i personally was marbled and fell in love with his work when i saw the exhibition on the national gallery in Stockholm. his work full of life, of light and his flawless technique left me astonished. even though his work is "superficial beauty" it gives you a snapshot of the elite looked like. unfortunately i couldn't find much information of him i do hope someone will extend an research of him soon.
