how could print making inspire you?
this is Lisa Brown
living in Canada, she got inspired by printmaking in the Alberta collage of art and design. from then she has been working on woodcuts. for her subjects she has done some portraits of famous people and birds. i love the detail and the precision she puts into each piece, as well as the coloring she gives to it and consistency, i really can't imagine being to make spirals or even a straight line if i tried to carve in wood. she has an extensive gallery in her webpage, i hope you enjoy it.
