designer loves art ... Shay Aaron...187

food is sometimes an inspiration right?

this is Shay Aaron

living in Israel, he always considered himself to be a creative since little, he got help from his family to star creating jewelry, most of his incredible art, looks realistic and appetizing although its at least 1/12 of the real size. It does take a lot of patience and attention to create this small sculptures.

designer loves art...William Holman Hunt...186

sometimes one goes to extreme measures to be a realistic as possible…

This is William Holman Hunt

although working as a clerk in his junior years he still managed to enter the Royal Academy, with 2 of his colleges Millais and Rossetti he started the Pre-Raphaelite movement and was the one that remained more faithful to it. this movement set in the Victorian times, has a morality and realistic subjects and even went to the Middle East so that his biblical images where painted in their original locations. his paintings are beautifully detailed, with rich warm colors and his subjects were mostly his friends and family rather than models.

designer loves art...Annie Vought...185

you usually  write a letter in paper, not of paper..

this is Annie Vought

living in California, she is a full time artist, her medium, paper and lots of x-acto knives. letter are a way of expressing yourself, and in a way it is a stamp in time of you own existence, she is aware of this, and it is why she has decided to express this in a work of art. her delicacy in her work, and the fragility it presents is astounding, and the patience she has to create one of her pieces must be infinite. in her work we can see not only different penmanship but different styles and even structures which represents the personality of the author of each "letter" in the end making it a portrait of its author.
