sometimes one goes to
extreme measures to be a realistic as possible…
This is William Holman
Hunt
although working as a clerk
in his junior years he still managed to enter the Royal Academy, with 2 of his
colleges Millais and Rossetti he started the Pre-Raphaelite movement and was
the one that remained more faithful to it. this movement set in the Victorian times,
has a morality and realistic subjects and even went to the Middle East so that
his biblical images where painted in their original locations. his paintings
are beautifully detailed, with rich warm colors and his subjects were mostly
his friends and family rather than models.
