Sometimes it takes a picture to see the human in all living
creatures
This is Tim Flach
Living in London, he also studied photography there although
his first degree was in communication design. His models are animals, explore
our relationship with animals. His subjects have an almost human quality. An engaging
quality that gives you the feeling of them looking back at you. All trying to
bring the question forward of what is our relationship with animals, how we
have managed them to live in this human world and how we are molding the world
around us. It is difficult to work with animals, so you only have a couple of
shots with each animal in a time frame. With also the liberty of not knowing
what the animal will bring to each photo-shoot. I personally enjoy his work, not only does he
bring a different perspective by taking the animal out of its natural habitat,
but also by saving those little unexpected moments we get with any kind of
animals. I hope to see more of his work in the near future.
